Garanty & Complaints

House in Style endeavours to sell products of the highest quality. If, despite all expectations, there is something wrong with your product, we will endeavour to resolve the issue as soon as possible. We guarantee this.

What the guarantee means
The statutory warranty applies to any item you purchase from us. The statutory warranty means that a product is or does what the consumer in all reasonableness can expect from it.

The warranty applies to all products that are damaged on receipt and to products which appear to be defective when used normally. A manufacturer warranty of 1 year applies to all products for flaws and defects. The guarantees offered do not affect the statutory rights concerning the warranty and compliance that you as a consumer are entitled to.

If you make a warranty claim, House in Style shall compensate you by replacement, exchange for a different product, repair or reimbursement. (Often after prior checking of the product).

The warranty does not apply if the damage:

  • is deliberate;
  • is caused by negligence;
  • is caused by incompetent use;
  • is caused through improper maintenance:
  • is caused through normal wear and tear;
  • is caused by not observing the instructions for use or not observing these correctly.
